Day Opportunities
Day opportunities, also known as day services, provide individuals with the chance to get out and do something during the day, evening or weekends. Opportunities include:
- social activities
- education, employment and training
- local facilities and housing.
If an individual is interested in taking up a day opportunity, they need to complete a care and support assessment and be eligible for care services. Please also read this factsheet for more information. To find out more call the Council on 0300 500 80 80.
The day opportunities are delivered by a wide range of providers in different locations in the County. Individuals can access the Council day services or the independent organisations who are on the day opportunities framework (contract) that started on the 28th September 2023.
