A cross-party highways review panel was set up in May 2021 to review and monitor how we maintain the highways network in Nottinghamshire.
Over a series of five meetings, with input from a significant Local Government Association (LGA) peer review and external input from industry sector experts WSP, a number of recommendations to improve the council’s highway maintenance work were identified.
These recommendations were used to draft a new Highways Improvement Plan for the County.
