Buttercross Pre-School

We are a very small team that have overcome some huge challenges over the past few years. Losing a close friend and valued member of staff to cancer hit the team hard but their commitment to each other and ensuring the children were supported through the loss was heart-warming and heart breaking in equal measure. Consequently, the team feel like a family, not just work colleagues and we know that we are there for each other.  The team have worked with enthusiasm and have excelled in problem solving through Covid, with a focus on what we can do, not what we can’t do. Their support for the children at home as well as at preschool was fantastic, with real thought into the impact of covid on these children and families evident. I’m so proud and lucky to be the manager of this amazing team, their commitment to the best Early Years Care and Education is evident through the confident and well prepared for their next step, children, that leave us each year.
