Helping residents and businesses get online: Nottinghamshire Digital Champions Network

The Nottinghamshire Digital Champions Network is a new initiative to create and support a team of Digital Champions across the county who can help both residents and businesses get online.

Launched as part of the Better Broadband for Nottinghamshire programme, the initiative is being delivered by our chosen provider Digital Unite.

How to get involved

Become a Digital Champion and help others to understand the benefits of being online and spend time showing them how to use computers set up and send emails and search the internet.

There is also a range of free resources available for people looking to develop the skills to improve their online experience and to fully realise the benefits of the internet.

  • Digital Unite -  Digital Unite provide products and services to support digital skills learning
  • Go ON UK - The Go ON UK campaign is designed to help as many people as possible to take advantage of the digital internet revolution
  • UK Online Centres - The UK Online Centres network is made up of 5,000 local centres, helping people make the most of technology and widening digital inclusion among the most socially excluded in the UK
  • Learn My Way - Learn My Way is another service provided by Tinder Foundation and gives new internet users a range of easy courses and tutors in computer centres a host of useful resources.
