The Gedling Access Road, now named Colliery Way, officially opened to traffic on 22 March 2022 at midday. The new road links the B684 Mapperley Plains and the A612 Trent Valley Road / Nottingham Road. The final phase of works to fully open the Colliery Way network are now complete and traffic will be able to use Arnold Lane from 11am on 15 July.
