Perspective Lite

Perspective Lite is the new online portal for performance data, analysis, key documents and file returns - all in one place. Perspective is the replacement for Erica/CarotDav (file transfer system) and the School Performance Portal (document store) and will also provide additional interactive analysis on the following areas:

• School census
  Analysis by pupil characteristics (such as special educational needs, English as an additional language and minority ethnicity), deprivation (free school meals, disadvantaged, IDACI), pupil mobility and prior attainment. Also easily produce a one-page summary from your census return.
• Attendance and exclusions
  Showing headlines, trends, ranks and comparisons for key measures together with significance testing to help identify strengths and challenges. Filterable by pupil characteristics. Weekly attendance data is also available.
• Key stage assessment outcomes
  Filterable data reports by multiple pupil characteristics together with headlines, trends, ranks and significance testing. NCER national averages available months earlier than DfE’s ASP and Ofsted’s IDSR helping support early self-evaluation.
• ‘Watchsted’
  Search across all Ofsted inspection reports either by inspector or key words.

A range of LA produced data is also available under LA Services -> Documents (replacing files previously distributed through Erica and the Performance Portal) including:

• Information on pupil deprivation
• School finance returns - including the submission of your REC1, budget plans and SFVS. School Finance will also make available via Perspective Lite your autorec and tranche statements
• Key stage handbooks and summary dashboards providing analysis of your test/teacher assessment outcomes
• Place planning dashboards showing projected future demand
• SEND profile showing benchmarking against other schools in the family, district, LA and nationally
• First destinations for year 11 school leavers

This service is currently free to all Nottinghamshire schools and academies.

School users should contact their head / designated administrator for a login. If the head does not have a login, has left the school or you require further information, please contact the Business Intelligence team.
