The following letters are templates that schools can use;

• when writing to parents regarding school attendance
• to set a review period for monitoring a child's attendance
• to notify parents of the the possibility of a referral for a fine or prosecution at court
• or that they are being referred to the local authority because of persistent and unauthorised absences.
