Nature recovery on your school grounds

The Nottinghamshire and Nottingham Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) is the county and city’s shared framework for nature recovery, helping to create a more connected, resilient network of habitats for wildlife and people.

Nottinghamshire’s schools can use the LNRS to support learning about their local environment as well as carry out nature recovery actions on their own sites.

Find out how your school can get involved by reading the LNRS User Guide for Schools and Educational Settings [PDF]

The guide includes includes links to useful resources and organisations who can help you put ideas into practice – which could include things like how to incorporate nature into lesson plans or how to make bug hotels and wildflower seed bombs with students.

We hope you find this resource useful!
