Registered Managers' Peer Networks

Optimum has been working with Registered Managers, Skills for Care, Clinical Commissioning Groups and other partners to support the development of Registered Managers' Networks across Nottinghamshire, including Nottingham City. The Skills for Care Model is that each of these meetings should be led and Chaired by a Registered Manager who will work with other managers to agree an agenda of ‘hot topics’ for discussion.

A range of meetings are now established.  These are located in:

Any Registered Manager is able to set up their own Network and a support pack is available from Skills for Care. Here you can download resources to help you get started.

Optimum is very keen to encourage these events and will provide the following support:

  • Email service to care providers to encourage attendance
  • Contacts for agenda items
  • Help to find venues
  • Certificates for Managers who attend to evidence CPD and the CQC KLOE ‘Well Led’
