Work to improve pedestrian safety on highways around key sporting venues in West Bridgford is due to start Monday 14 January

The permanent precautionary traffic bollards and protective features are to be installed in the main pedestrian areas around Trent Bridge Cricket Ground ahead of this summer’s events including the Cricket World Cup.

The first phase of the work along Radcliffe Road and is expected to take around six weeks.

The footway adjacent to Trent Bridge Cricket Ground between Fox Road and the Trent Bridge Inn will be closed for this duration, with some sections of the parking bays along the route suspended between 09:00-15:30 each day (when required) whilst the work takes place.

There will be some changes to the lanes on Radcliffe Road, however impact on road users is expected to be minimal.

Once the first phase is complete, works will move to Bridgford Road and the A60, London Road.

Further details will be released closer to the time.
