Vice Chairman to remember survivors at National Holocaust Centre’s 24th Anniversary Event
Nottinghamshire County Council Chairman, Councillor Kevin Rostance, and Vice Chair, Councillor Stuart Wallace, will be attending a few events throughout the week.
On Monday 30 September, Councillor Kevin Rostance, Chairman of Nottinghamshire County Council will attend an event at Arnot Park, Arnold at 4.30pm where a new mural designed by young City Arts will be unveiled.
The City Arts project receive £6,000 each year from Nottinghamshire County Council as part of three-year Local Improvement Scheme package, now in its second year. The artwork will celebrate the 100-year history of the Park.
On Thursday 3 October, Councillor Rostance will be attending the official opening of the 725th Goose Fair at the Forest Recreation Ground.
On Sunday 6 October, Councillor Stuart Wallace, Vice Chairman of Nottinghamshire County Council will be attending the National Holocaust Centre & Museum’s 24th Anniversary Event at 11.30am.
Councillor Wallace said, “I am honoured to attend this memorial event to celebrate the 24th anniversary of the opening of the National Holocaust Centre. I look forward to meeting with Holocaust survivors attending the event and remembering the six survivors that have passed away in the last year.”
Later that day the Vice Chairman will attend the Newark and Sherwood Civic Service.
