This report sets out the cumulative data from 21 February to 19 July 2020. The information will be updated each week.
As part of local outbreak control arrangements, a team meets daily to review information about new cases to identify where further investigation or action is required to suppress the spread of infection.
Although the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 has been low compared to some areas of the country, it is important to remind ourselves of the steps we can each take to keep it that way. The most effective way to stop the spread of the virus in Nottinghamshire is by:
- maintaining social distancing of two metres wherever possible - and one metre with the necessary extra precautions where two metres is not possible
- frequent and rigorous hand washing for at least 20 seconds
- wearing face coverings on public transport of in shops
- self-isolating immediately if you or anyone in your household has symptoms, getting tested within the first five days of having symptoms and following the advice given when you receive the result.
