Nottinghamshire County Council Chairman, Councillor Kevin Rostance, will be attending several events this week.

On Tuesday 26 November, Councillor Kevin Rostance will attend the 70th Celebration event of the Nottingham Roosevelt Travelling Memorial Scholarship in Nottingham. The event is an opportunity to recognise the scholarship and celebrate its 70th year of sending adventurous young people from Nottinghamshire to the United States.

On Friday 29 November, the Chairman will attend the 25-year anniversary celebration of Worksop and District Live at Home Scheme.

“I’m delighted to attend the 25-year anniversary celebration of the Worksop Live Home Scheme, a scheme that has been supported by the County Council’s Local Improvement Scheme. The funding from the Council has helped the scheme carry out its great work in supporting the local elderly and vulnerable people in the Worksop area.”

On Saturday 30 November Councillor Rostance will be celebrating St. Andrew’s Day at the Walter Parker VC Memorials Square in Stapleford at 9.30am.

On Sunday 1 December, the Chairman will attend the Commandery’s Advent Carol Service at St Wilfrid’s Church, Kirkby in Ashfield.
