Funding criteria and eligibility

The South Nottinghamshire LEADER area has a population of just over 113,000 and forms an important bridge between Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire.

In total, £1.3m of funding is available to support projects in the South Nottinghamshire LEADER area.

  • all applicants must operate within the designated LEADER area shown on the map
  • applicants must be legal entities such as:
    • micro and small businesses
    • social enterprises
    • farmers
    • growers
    • foresters
    • land managers
    • other voluntary, community and public sector organisations
  • projects should contribute to the South Nottinghamshire Local Development Strategy (LDS) priorities and should help:
    • create jobs
    • grow rural businesses
    • support the rural economy.
