Hundreds of homicides in the UK go unsolved and become 'cold cases' - investigations that are not active but remain open pending new information.
We will review the evidence in some of the most fascinating cold cases of recent times, pitting our wits against detectives who have gone before.
Along the way we will also study DNA and other forensic inventions that solved cold cases previously thought unsolvable.
What technology will come along in the future to help solve current cold cases and catch killers hiding in plain sight?
