This section allows you to search through members and document title and contents.

 

1.0 Simple or Advanced Search

 

The top panel on this page allows you to select whether you want to do a simple or advanced search.

To change your selection, select the relevant radio box and then click the submit button.

 

1.1 Simple Search

 

The simple search  allows you to specify whether you want to search through documents or members, and your search term.

Enter these values and then click the Start Search button to perform your search.

 

1.2 Advanced Search (for documents only)

The advanced search provides further options to aid your search.

Options-
Stemming extends a search to cover grammatical variations on a word. For example, a search for fish would also find fishing. A search for applied would also find applying, applies, and apply.
Fuzzy searching will find a word even if it is misspelled. For example, a fuzzy search for apple will find appple.
Phonetic searching will find similar sounding words and synonymous.
Document Type -specify the type of document you are searching for, e.g. Agenda
Sort Type/Order - clarify your search results sort them by document title, hits or meeting date in either ascending or descending order.
Filter on Date - exclude documents created outside of a specified date range
Committee - only find documents connected to a specified committee

 

To perform your search criteria, complete any of the options that you wish to use and click the Start Search button.

 

1.3 Results

       

Your results will be displayed below the search criteria form. To view further information on a member or to view a document, click their name/title.
