Nottinghamshire Day: How to get involved

CHECK BACK FOR NEWS ABOUT THE 2023 EVENTThe 2022 Notts Day was a great success with a family event held in Sherwood Forest.  It celebrated what's great about Nottinghamshire. Below are a few examples of how people supported the day in 2022.

  • Online: tell people what you love about Nottinghamshire: use the hashtags #shoplocal and #Nottsday
  • Activities, events and experiences: we'd like everyone who lives in the county to get involved in this year's Nottinghamshire Day. There are some great tips and ideas in our Community info pack, including local recipes and games, Nottinghamshire history, legends and attractions, information for schools and businesses, and more.
  • Get your family and friends involved: you can make your own Robin Hood hats so you can become outlaws for the day. Why not take a photo and post it on social media? Don't forget to use the #Nottsday hashtag!

If you have an event to promote send us the details. Email Notts.Day@nottscc.gov.uk
