We want to create a healthy, prosperous, and greener future for everyone who lives in Nottinghamshire. To help us achieve this we need to know your priorities.
Each year we have a legal duty to balance our budget and just like the people in Nottinghamshire, we’re also feeling the pressures that are driving up the cost of living such as record inflation and energy costs. Many other factors, including a national shortage of social care staff and a need for more funding are also adding to those pressures. The scale of the financial challenge facing the Council next year is currently estimated at £34.8 million. This estimated funding gap rises to £73.8 million when looking at this over the next 3 years.
To help us rise to this challenge please take a few minutes and complete our short survey so we can best set a budget that meets your needs. If you prefer, you can download a printable copy of the survey and all supporting information found on these pages.
This survey is open to Nottinghamshire residents between Nov 17th 2022 and January 2nd 2023.Feedback regarding the results of this consultation will be available on our website in the first quarter of 2023.
