Veteran's Information Network Nottinghamshire
The Veteran's Information Network Nottinghamshire (VINN) works to enhance the welfare and wellbeing of the Armed Forces and veteran community in Nottinghamshire by sharing information and knowledge.
The objectives of VINN are to:
- act as a point of contact on behalf of local government and other agencies in Nottinghamshire for all matters relating to veteran's policy
- work closely with member organisations to get a collective and unified approach by all those who work on behalf of veterans in Nottinghamshire
- engage with the Ministry of Defence, other government departments, local government, the Confederation of Service Charities and other agencies in all matters relating to the veterans policy
- encourage public support for the Armed Forces and veterans community.

Membership is open to any group which is a registered company and/or has charitable status registered with the Charity Commission and works with veterans, their dependents and communities.

The steering group is comprised of the founding partners made up of charitable and statutory agencies and will meet a minimum of four times per year.
Vacancies on the steering group will be advertised across the network and members who wish to join the steering group should contact the chair of the VINN.
