Course tutor: Early Years Specialist Teachers
Target audience: This course is for room leaders and practitioners who are qualified to NVQ2 or NVQ3 working in an early years setting or experienced child-minders. Practitioners working in F1 in schools are also welcome to attend.
Pre-requisites: Please bring a copy of the Statutory Framework for Early Years Foundation Stage – Setting the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to five.
About this course
This course will provide Early Years Practitioners with a range of practical ideas to support children as they develop early phonological & phonemic awareness.
- Understand the differences between phonological and phonemic awareness and how they lead on to phonics
- Explore how practitioners can support children’s phonological and phonemic awareness through the use of practical activities

Courses are payable by credit or debit card at the time of booking, please follow the instructions on Eventbrite – invoices will not be sent for these courses.

If you have booked a place but find you cannot make it remember to cancel your place so others can attend.
