Nottinghamshire Children’s Trust has come up with a plan which tells everyone what it’s going to do to over the next two years to help you and other children and young people from Nottinghamshire to be happy, healthy and safe.

Open up the film clips linked from this page to find out  what the Children and Young People’s Plan is about.  The film also fills you in on what the Children’s Trust is - just in case you’re wondering.  We’ve also done a signed version, so have a look at that one if you prefer.

Just to let you know, children and young people were involved in coming up with the Children and Young People’s Plan (the film tells you about this).

We also wanted to tell you that young people made the film.  Young people from Selston and Portland College decided that a short film would probably be the best way to tell other children and young people about the Plan.

So, over the summer of 2009, they spent a busy week making this film.  They were helped by a film maker, drama coach, and youth and participation workers from Nottinghamshire County Council and Connexions.  The young people came up with all the ideas for what you see in the film and also learnt lots of new skills about what goes into making a film, such as performance, film content, script writing, set design, locations, and camera work.
