LAFS (Lesbian in Ashfield Friendship and Support)

Meet other women who are lesbian, bisexual or uncertain of their sexuality.  For women aged 16 +.  An informal group run by lesbians with confidential chat, information, support.  Make new friends and have fun.  The group meets the last Wednesday of each month.

Nottinghamshire Lesbian Book Club

Social group/book group that meets once a month.  Members take it in turns to choose a read.  Group open to all women with an interest in good company and page turning.

Breakout

Social group for gay and bisexual men. Fun events, outings and speakers. Meets every Tuesday evening at the Health Shop.  Doors open at 7.30pm for tea/coffee and biscuits. Main session begins at 8pm.

Eat Out Nottingham

Eat Out Nottingham is a monthly dinner clb. Eat, drink and be merry! Enjoy good coversation and good company. An excellent way to spend a Wednesday evening in Nottingham.  This event began in 2006 and continues to be a success.  There are usually 12 - 20 diners and newcomers are always welcome.

Ball Bois

Part of the national Gay Outdoor Club.  Mixed group for all ages to encourage love of the countryside.  Organises monthly walks, occasional YHA and camping weekends.

Nottingham Badminton Social

Badminton social event for peopleinterested in playing different people at badminton.  It will cost £2.50 per person. The aim is to make this a regular event.  It is aimed at people with mixed levels of badminton skills.  It will not involve you playing different people at doubles. Shuttles will be provided.

Gay friendly cinema/café.  Shows are house/world/experimental film, some with gay themes.  Hosts a number of festivals through the year including annual Lesbian and Gay film festival.
