Focus mediation who are we

Who are we?

The Focus Mediation Service is provided by Nottinghamshire County Council.

All mediators are qualified and accredited to mediation uk and are also qualified youth workers, domestic violence workers and leaders in charge.

We are based in Mansfield’s Information Shop for young people but work across the whole of Nottinghamshire.

Why was the service developed?

During support sessions with young people it became apparent that lots of their issues were connected by family situations.

Despite endless searching we could not find a free mediation service to sign post young people on to. For this reason the Focus Family Mediation Service was developed.
