- Work experience gives you an opportunity to spend time out of the classroom and in the world of work.
- Work experience can help you develop your self-confidence and communication skills.

Your schools may also ask you to keep a record of your placement which can be useful to look back over and see what you have achieved. Your placement employer should also give you feedback on the work you have done and what you have achieved.
