Become a book donor

Need to declutter? Got books you've finished reading? You can donate your new and used books to Nottinghamshire libraries.

Books must be:

  • in good condition
  • under three years old.

We can't accept books that:

  • are dirty or yellowing
  • have torn, loose or missing pages.

Library staff will assess donated books and allocate them to the most appropriate library. Any books which we can’t use on our shelves across the County’s libraries will be sold at one of our books sales or recycled, which also helps your libraries.

To donate, just bring your books along to your local library. We would love to see you!
