Colin Pettigrew, Director of Children’s services for Nottinghamshire County Council said:

“We owe it to our children and families to do all we can to keep them safe and well, both physically and emotional during the coronavirus outbreak.

"Schools and other settings are pulling together across Nottinghamshire, and giving an opportunity for all. We hope to award each of the 240,000 plus children and young people with an award from the Lord Lieutenant.”
