Road safety advice for mobility scooter users

Mobile scooters can be difficult to control and accidents are increasing. This video, produced by Norfolk Constabulary, has safety advice for new and existing scooter users.

The film is presented and narrated by Sheila Reid who is well known as Madge, a mobility scooter user in the hit TV comedy ‘Benidorm’.

The film is aimed at both existing and new mobility scooter users and covers three key areas:

  • Tips and techniques for staying safe and secure on your scooter
  • Best practice and etiquette
  • Guidance on The Highway Code and the law
