Nottinghamshire County Council - Proud of our past, ambitious for our future

Remember, remember the 5th of November!

25 October 2012

Book lovers could land a bargain at Arnold Library with a book and DVD sale which starts on November 5 – the date famous for Guy Fawkes Night.

The event, organised by Nottinghamshire County Council, which manages the library, runs from Monday, November 5 to Saturday, November 10 at the library in Front Street.

Fiona Littlewood, Principal Librarian for Resources, at Nottinghamshire County Council, said: “This is a great chance for people to come along and support their library in Arnold. Proceeds will help raise money for additional stock allowing us to extend the range and number of titles we buy.”

People can choose from a large selection of the library’s surplus books, and audio visual items including CDs and DVDs. Similar sales have been a success at other libraries in Nottinghamshire this year.
