Going for gold

Ollie Hynd is the first Notts swimmer confirmed for the London 2012 Paralympic games.

Having attained the Paralympic qualification standards in both 400m freestyle and 200m individual medley he'll be going for gold in September.

Ollie swims with Nova Centurion swimming club and receives financial support from Nottinghamshire County Council’s Shining Stars fund.

 

More good news

Meanwhile, Charlotte Henshaw. from Mansfield, has also had her nomination for the London 2012 Paralympic games accepted, subject to IPC Swimming confirming final athlete slot allocation which will be in the coming weeks.
