As part of the Localism Act 2011 all Councils in England and Wales are required to publish details of their policies which determine how pay is set, in particular executive pay, by the end of March 2012.
Following the Full Council meeting on 29 March, Members have approved Nottinghamshire County Council's new Pay Policy Statement which provides details about the pay of our Chief Executive and senior officers and how it relates to the pay of other County Council employees.
The Statement, which will be updated on an annual basis, builds on the Council’s existing information available on-line about executive pay underlining our commitment to open and accountable decision making.
