New Minerals Local Plan

The first stage of consultation on the new Minerals Local Plan closed on 30 March 2012. We would like to thank everyone who responded to the consultation. If you would like to view the representations duly made you may do so by looking for responses to each question via the interactiveLocal Development Framework for Minerals Local Plan.

Waste Core Strategy

Following several earlier stages of informal consultation, a draft version of the Waste Core Strategy, called the Proposed Submission Document, was published in March 2012 for formal representations.  Following this consultation, and in response to changes in national planning policy, the Councils then consulted on a number of changes to the strategy - published as a separate Schedule of Proposed Changes in October 2012.

The Waste Core Strategy, Schedule of Proposed Changes and all of the representations received were submitted to Government on 14 January 2013 for independent examination by a planning inspector.  Details of submission and the examination process can be found on our separate Waste Core Strategy Examination page.
