We know the importance school meals play in children’s lives, helping them to maintain their concentration and energy levels throughout the day. As an award-winning service, we support this aim by providing popular and healthy meals, made from quality ingredients.
Our food is healthy, ethical and uses local ingredients, we're able to make the most of seasonal produce and create comforting, nutritionally balanced and tasty meals that are at least 75% freshly prepared when ingredients are at their best.
Our ingredients are taken from across Nottinghamshire and neighbouring counties to create our hugely popular school meals. These include:
Our meals have proven to be extremely popular among pupils of all ages, with over 70% recently saying they were either satisfied or very satisfied with the value for money, taste, quality and the variety of food on our menus.
Nottinghamshire Schools Catering contract offers a two-course meal over a three-week menu cycle with a vegetarian option available. Secondary schools have an additional itemised menu. We will work with the school to make sure that the pupils are provided with a healthy and nutritional meal, and we meet the Government Nutritional standards. Our staff are trained to carry out their duties and each school has a dedicated Account Manager.
The Maintenance and Premise scheme is an available for schools in the Service to Schools contract. This scheme covers maintenance, servicing, repairs, and replacement of heavy equipment in your school kitchen. Purchasing the Maintenance and Premise scheme will provide you with an experienced team who will support you with catering issues relating to kitchen incidents, ensuring that Health and Safety and legal compliance is met and implemented. For schools receiving a pack out meal the scheme will include the cost for transporting the meals and returning light equipment back to the production kitchen.
We offer bespoke contracts for Academies and Schools who require an individual standalone contract. The standalone contract can be tailored to meet the needs of your school. If you require any further information for an individual contract, you can contact the following managers:
