Reduce, Reuse and Recycle Fund open for applications!

We're delighted to announce that the next round of the Nottinghamshire Recycles Reduce, Reuse and Recycle Fund is back open for applications.

Schools, community groups and charities can apply for funding, so if you have a project that focuses on sustainability and encourages Nottinghamshire to reduce, reuse and recycle more you may be eligible for a grant of up to £1000.

The application deadline is Friday 25 June.

Allsorts Preschool in Underwood, Ashfield

They received funding to purchase gardening equipment for children at the school. A spokesperson said: "They have loved planting and caring for the seeds and best of all, eating their own food!"

Asquith Primary in Mansfield

They received funding to buy equipment for their Forest School project. A spokesperson said: The opportunity will mean we can use our outdoor space during poor weather, keeping our children dry."

Bleasby CofE Primary in Newark & Sherwood

They used their funding to buy recycle bins for the whole school. A spokesperson said: "Our school now has child friendly eye catching recycle bins in each classroom!"
