Sergeant Thomas George Harris, enlisted in Nottingham and served with the 2nd Battalion King's Own (Royal Lancaster Regiment). He landed in France on 15th January 1915, he died of wounds in German hands on 22nd May 1915 he is buried in Niederzwehren Cemetery, Kassel,
