Pte. Frank Edward Hourd (shown on medal rolls as Howard) 9th Battalion Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment, died of wounds on 19th August 1915, he is commemorated on the Helles Memorial.
Helles Memorial John Morse believes this man was Frank Edward Howard (see photograph).CWGC is investigating but the family is listed as Hourd on the 1911 Census.
