George was born in 1896 at Fiskerton,Lincolnshire the son of of George and Isabella Skipper North of Bole.In the 1911 census he is shown as a servant , a horseman on a farm,being farmed by a farmer called William Lacey Smith living at South Clfton just outside Newark,he is 15 years of age and is single.His parents are living at Wigsley Lincolnshire in 1911. He has a brother Charles born 1888 Greetwell,Lincolnshire
