This document was written and compiled by Leah Sareen, Anne Trout and Leonie Williams.

Leah Sareen is the Strategic Lead for Young People and Substance Use for Nottinghamshire County Council.

Anne Trout is the Nottinghamshire County Schools Consultant for Substance Use who co-ordinates education for Nottinghamshire County Council.

Leonie Williams is the former Project Manager of Hettys and WAM, who supports families, children and young people affected by substance use and is also the former Chair of the National Families Federation for the UK.

This document has been approved by Nottinghamshire County Council Substance Misuse Chief Officers Group and accepted by Nottinghamshire County Council as the principal guidance for working with children, young people and substance use issues.

This document has been ratified by Nottinghamshire Drug and Alcohol Action Team Partnership Chief Officers Group.

This document has been ratified by Newark and Sherwood PCT's Clinical Governance Steering Committee.

This document has been approved by the seven district reference groups and their members.
