Summer season opening

  • open every day, 10am to 5pm
  • please be aware that the Forest Table Restaurant may close earlier for private functions.

Car parking

Car parking costs £3 a day. This applies every day, except during the Robin Hood Festival (31 July to 6 August 2017). During the festival a £5 daily charge applies.

Season ticket

2017/18 car park season ticket [PDF] now on sale, priced £25. Valid from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018, the season ticket is valid for a maximum of two cars.

The season ticket also gives free parking during the Robin Hood Festival.

Season tickets can be bought from the Sherwood Forest Heritage shop. 

Severe weather

The park is an outdoor attraction but on rare occasions we do have to close the park due to severe weather including high wind..

Any closures will be listed on our disruptions page.
