Nottinghamshire childcare sufficiency assessment

From April 2008, the Childcare Act 2006 places duties on English Local Authorities to secure sufficient childcare to enable parents to work. In preparation for this duty the Childrens Information Service has undertaken a detailed Childcare Sufficiency Assessment of the supply of and demand for childcare in Nottinghamshire. This will help the Local Authority to identify where there are gaps in the childcare market and plan towards addressing those gaps.
