Notts brides-to-be invited to West Bridgford wedding fayre
Brides and grooms-to-be are invited to a wedding fayre at Bridgford Hall, West Bridgford, to look around the historic venue, meet the registrars and talk to specialist wedding suppliers on Sunday 1 October (11am to 3pm).
Suppliers include bridal boutiques, cake makers, florists, transport providers, photographers, wedding planners, toast masters, games hire, jewellery and a travel company. Attendees will also be able to sample some artisan beers and prosecco.
Councillor Gordon Wheeler, Vice- Chairman of Nottinghamshire County Council’s Communities and Place Committee, said: “Bridgford Hall is perfectly located in beautiful parkland and boasts a fantastic £2.3m refurbishment, but as this is a register office, a wedding here won’t break the bank.
“This is a great opportunity to admire our two refurbished ceremony rooms and speak to our experts about the options for your big day and the legal requirements of a civil ceremony.”
Entry to the Wedding Fayre is free.
Bridgford Hall, which is set in beautiful parkland, reopened after a year-long refurbishment which was funded by Rushcliffe Borough Council and the Heritage Lottery Fund. The 250 year old Georgian building has been modernised to enhance the two wedding ceremony rooms and create seven luxury short-stay suites on the first and second floors. The Garden Room seats 60 guests and The Drawing Room seats 20.
