Nottinghamshire County Council Chairman Councillor John Handley’s office has a number of visits this week.

Tonight, he will attend the AGM of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, in the Assembly Hall, at County Hall on Monday, at 7pm.

On Friday afternoon, the Chairman’s Lady Margaret Handley will attend a Women’s World of Prayer service at All Hallows Church in Lady Bay, at 2pm.

And on Sunday at 10.45am, the Chairman will attend a Legal Service at St Mary’s the Virgin Church in Nottingham city centre. The event begins with a procession from the National Justice Museum before the service begins at 10.45am.

It is an annual service, held jointly by the County and City Councils and the High Sheriff, the Queen's Representative for Law and Order in the County, in the presence of Her Majesty's Judges, to mark and give thanks for the Rule of Law.
