Small electrical items like toasters and sandwich makers etc. can be taken to any Household Waste Recycling Centre.

Some district councils also provide recycling banks for small household electrical items.

They should not be placed in your household waste bin as they contain metals and/or components that could be recovered and reused. If these items are sent to landfill, they can result in contaminating the land.
