is based at County Hall, West Bridgford and is by appointment only via the telephone number below.

Car parking
Visitor car parking at County Hall is extremely limited. Alternatively, there is the shoppers' car park on Bridgford Road.

Registration of births and deaths
The Registrar of Births and Deaths is now based at the new library building on Bridgford Road, by appointment only and via the telephone number below

Large shoppers' Pay and Display car park adjacent to the library.

Ceremonies
Welbeck Hall in West Bridgford is the new venue for ceremonies including weddings, civil partnerships and naming ceremonies. Please see the section below for more details.

Copy Certificates
All historical records of Rushcliffe births, deaths and marriages are now held at the Basford Registration Office, Highbury Road, Bulwell, NG6 9DA.

Customers living in the Rushcliffe area are still able to request certificates via the County Hall office. However, email enquiries should be directed to the Bulwell office at certificates@nottscc.gov.uk. Postal applications should also be sent to the Bulwell office.

Telephone enquiries for copy certificates should be directed via our Customer Service Centre on the number below.

Welbeck Hall

Welbeck Hall, available for civil marriage, partnership, renewal of vows and naming ceremonies, is a grand building built over 100 years ago as a Masonic lodge. 

The ceremony room seats 80 people and has many charming features including high, beamed ceilings and wood panelling.  The riverside setting, next to a scenic suspension bridge, provides an idyllic backdrop for your photographs.

Welbeck Hall is conveniently located near to West Bridgford town centre and is wheelchair accessible. There is ample free parking for your guests in the private car park (accessible via Welbeck Road or Balmoral Avenue).

Viewings can be arranged by appointment. We will be pleased to show you around and discuss how we can help to make your special day one to remember.
