New national campaign urges: Be alert to the symptoms of cancerNottinghamshire County Council is supporting the new Be Clear on Cancer campaign. Launched on 26 January, the campaign is running across England for four weeks with the aim of raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of oesophageal cancer (cancer of the gullet/foodpipe) and stomach cancer. 27 January 2015

National Local Government Pay Award

The trade unions and employers have recently reached agreement on the national local Government Pay Award.

The agreement includes a one off lump sum payment and a 2.2% pay increase for all eligible employees.
