Essential works to provide appropriate accommodation for CPU (Civil Parking Enforcement Central Processing Unit) at Lawn View House are now complete. The CPU move was necessary to create office space for the MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub) at Mercury House.
It was the intention to undertake other building works on floors 1 and 2 of Lawn View House following the CPU works and preparatory work for these has been done, however, following consideration of budgets and the overall programme plan we’ve decided to defer those works for the short to medium term. Once we know when floors 1 and 2 works will take place we will let you know.
Before Kier leave LVH, the works on the ground floor including the creation of the LVH post room from the old welfare room and small meeting room will be completed at night within a three week period starting Monday 19th November 2012. Within this period, the Kier site office will be removed and the compound returned to normal use.
Thanks for all your help during the recent works and if you have any comments or issues regarding the works please inform Stewart Rae in the Ways of Working team by email or call 0115 977 2997.
