Previous estimates

Estimates of the population for previous years may be useful for comparison purposes.

Please note that the estimates for mid 2002 onwards, at County and District level, have been revised reflecting improved data for international migration (August 2007). Further revisions took place in May 2010 relating to internal migration and student movements. The files below show the population for each of the previous years using the improved methodology where relevant.
