The Data Collections team gathers data from schools relating to the assessment, attainment and school workforce, and maintains the central pupil database of contextual data. This information is then validated and used in the annual School Performance Handbook, which allows schools to compare their performance against other schools and also against the local authority and national averages.
As co-ordinators of data collection procedures and supporters of recent and current software resources, we provide a comprehensive and informed service to schools.
The team already provide support to your administrative staff with statutory data collections. You will know how important it is that the data your school returns is accurate, as it informs your schools budget information and the national performance tables used by Ofsted.
Data Collections will also work with your school to ensure your data is validated and all of the necessary returns to the Department for Education from your school are timely, complete and accurate.
