About Services for Schools

Welcome to our new online directory with all the information you'll need about Nottinghamshire County Council's Services for Schools.

Having listened to your feedback, we've redesigned our offer to meet your needs, making it easier for you to decide which services you require, with clear pricing structures, key features, benefits and our pledge for a level of service that we commit to.

This year, in addition to our proven and popular services, we have extended the options available with some great new services, offering the same high levels of standards that you can depend upon.

Our new look brochure and online directory represent the first stage of many improvements we will be making to our service offer as part of a longer term review. They reinforce our commitment to continually building stronger relationships with you, and assisting you in raising standards.

In addition, the online directory is where we will also keep you up to date with any changes and enhancements we make to our support packages throughout the year.

We hope that you find the directory informative and we look forward to working with and supporting you in attaining the very best for the children and young people at your school

How to purchase our services:

Our aim is to make purchasing our services as easy as possible.

Our specialist Services for Schools Customer Service Advisors will be on hand to provide a brokerage service, answering your general queries and working with you to put together your package of services.

Our Service Advisors can be contacted by calling 0300 500 80 80 Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday 8am to 12 noon.

Once you've decided which services you want to purchase, there are two ways you can do this:

Option 1: Online (Interactive order form)

Many of our annual service packages are available to purchase using our updated interactive order form.

This can be accessed either via the online directory of services or by accessing the form directly from each service page. You will be able to log in to the interactive order form using your school login details, with the username being your school DfE number. If you need to remind yourself of these details or your password, please contact our Service Desk on 0115 854 6116.

The 'order online' symbol is shown on each of the service pages where this facility is available for elements of that service. The order form takes you through an easy to follow process, building up your contract with your selected options and payment choices as well as collecting useful information about your specific needs and requirements. You will receive email confirmations of all choices you make and will be able to upgrade your choices at any point during the year. If you decide to retain the services in 2014-15 the contracts will auto renew.

The interactive order form displays all the services that are available to order online, so you can simply select all your choices on one form. Once you have submitted your order form you will receive a confirmation email. If you need to make any changes after you’ve submitted your order form, you can log back into the form and make them before 22 March 2013.

Please Note: the deadline for submission of your interactive order form is 22 March 2013. If you wish to buy services outside this time or would like to negotiate a longer term arrangement, please contact our services directly.

Option 2: Contacting our services directly

For services that are not available on the interactive order form and for those where you want to negotiate a bespoke package you can contact the service directly using the contact information provided on the relevant page of this online directory.

Academies

We understand how academies function and that you require us to be responsive to your needs throughout the year (including the Summer), so please contact us at any time to discuss your requirements.

Once you have made your choices and completed the order form or agreed your requirements direct with the service, we will send out a services agreement relating to the services we are to provide you.

For some prices stated you will need to remember that VAT may need to be added.

Please note that all prices shown are exclusive of VAT.

Longer Term Arrangements

Some of our services may be willing to offer 18 month contracts from 1 April 2013. If you would like to speak to someone about this, please contact the service directly for more information.
