West Bridgford Library

The new West Bridgford Library opened on Saturday 16 March.

West Bridgford Library has two community rooms, with free Wi-fi available throughout the library.The Pine Room will be available to hire from 15 September 2013.

Mansfield Central Library

The Central is Mansfield Library's fully refurbished cultural and community venue. Based on the second floor of the library, The Central has a number of great spaces to hire at reasonable rates for meetings and events. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the library.

Charges, availability and booking

All rooms are charged at the following rate with the exception of Stapleford Library interview room:

  • commercial organisations - £16 per hour
  • community groups, Nottinghamshire County Council bookings and non-profit organisations - £8 per hour

Stapleford Library interview room is charged at

  • commercial organisations - £10 per hour
  • community groups, Nottinghamshire County Council bookings and non-profit organisations - £5 per hour

Hours of hire

Some libraries' meeting rooms may be available for hire outside of normal library opening hours as well as during normal opening times.

For all meeting room hire outside of library opening hours a minimum surcharge of £25 may be applied to cover caretaking and staff costs.

Other libraries beyond those mentioned above may be available for hire outside of normal opening hours. Please contact your local library directly for further information.

Nottinghamshire Archives

Nottinghamshire Archives' Meeting Room is also available for organisations and societies to hire.

There are five rooms available to hire at County Hall on weekday evenings and any time on Saturdays.
