Nottinghamshire County Council - Proud of our past, ambitious for our future
.

Nottinghamshire Archives is currently temporarily closed to the public.

Our enquiry service is still available to answer your questions and copies of many documents can be made.

Our research service can also carry out searches in the archives and provide information for you.

The Archives will be re-opening in Spring 2015.

New additions

Accessions

Nottinghamshire Archives regularly receives new acquisitions of material throughout the year. These new accessions are processed according to our charter and will be made available to readers once they have been catalogued. New accessions are updated on a quarterly basis.

If you wish to view any newly acquired collection which has not been fully catalogued an advance appointment will be necessary. Contact Nottinghamshire Archives with details of the material you wish to view and the date of your intended visit. Please note we require 1 week's notice of your visit.

Previous years' accessions

Catalogues

Staff continue to list smaller collections whenever possible and ongoing work continues on the records of the County Council, Brunts Charity and Nottingham City Engineering Department archives.

Collections that have been listed, with catalogues available to consult in our search room are updated on a quarterly basis.
